How Do I Continue My Training on Wot
#1 Posted Jan 27 2020 - 15:15
I play WOT on a PC. I have been looking for training rooms since I started a few days back. None of the options I've seen used in video tutorials are available on my version (just updated).
Also, I never was shown a training option when I first installed the game. Is there anyway I can find those training missions?
I have completed a few more than seventy missions but noticed that the forum blocks my posts in some places claiming I have fewer than five. Perhaps I misunderstood something.
Thanks for your help!

training rooms are just open maps for you and at least 1 other to explore or test things out with. You can find them in the game client if you click the "random battle" button (next to the big red one) and select "team training" and then invite a friend to join you and you can explore maps or do dumb things like races and jump off cliffs for no cost but ammo.
to the best of my knowledge boot camp missions are very limited in the execution and knowledge they give. good luck there. the YT videos put out by WG NA are a bit more informative but still lacking. find a training clan (MIT, D-Day etc) and they will be happy to show you the ropes and platoon with you

Hey bud, Training Rooms are able to be selected through the drop down menu next to the BATTLE button. You can create your own room on whatever map is in the game and then set it to invite only or "Open" so anyone who sees the room will be able to enter it.
You have to have at least 2 people in the room in order to "launch" the map....thanks again for that, WG. Really love being able to jump into a room for 10min and explore a map when nobody else is on...oh wait.
Feel free to shoot me a pm in game and I can go over it a bit more with you.

In the game menu there's a "Enter Bootcamp" option. It's the closest thing the game has to training missions.

I don't have a pull down next to the battle button and I have no "enter boot camp" option. Are we talking about the same game? World of Tank blitz. I've noticed some key differences between the tablet version and the screen I see on the PC. Are these menus and options available in all versions? Where would I add or create maps? Don't see any of that either.
Thanks for your help.
And why is my battle count (under the icon here in the forum) at zero but 79 in the game?

Because you are in the PC forums, not blitz.
You need the other forums here: http://forum.wotblitz.com/

Blitz does not apply here, this is the PC forum. The games are very different and not developed by the same group, they only share a few elements and the game name.
